About the Drama Parent Organization

The Greenfield High School Drama Parent Organization, (DPO), supports the theatre program at Greenfield High School.
Working together we:
  • help insure the continued quality of the theatre program
  • promote and publicize theatre performances and events
  • organize fund-raising projects for theatre scholarships and other resources that benefit the GHS Drama Club

The GHS Drama Club works hard every year to produce high quality shows for the school and community.
Your support ensures our ability to continue to provide exceptional theatre experiences for our students.

The DPO Board only uses parent e-mail addresses to send out “Sign-up Genius” requests for volunteers to assist with the various activities during Tech Week and performances. Opportunities to support the Drama Club include:

Hawks Drama Mission:
Greenfield Drama strives to provide a hands-on experience that allows students to take creative risks, fail, and try again in a safe environment while learning skills in leadership, safety, collaboration, and theater-specific skill and knowledge. Greenfield Drama is open to students with varying degrees of theater interest,  and we stress the importance of safety while working in the various locations in the theater space. The leaders and advisers of the program value teaching through hands-on experience for the students where the students are actively engaged in the process of mounting a production.
